I have a lot of friends and friends of friends in my little hunting and fishing world that love to share stories, you know us fisherman, we love our stories. Well in the spirit of sharing these stories, I thought it would be nice to start posting hunting and fishing stories on the net to reach my friends more effectively and post photos of who was successful. Sometimes as hunters and fisherman we live vicariously through each other, due to financial obligation we can't always be in the field, so like I said we live through each other. We rely on each other to soothe our addictions.

I am one of the most fortunate man I know, for my friendship ring is very strong and it started back in early school days and today I still stay in touch with many of my friends from Elementary School all the way through to my college year friends.

Facebook was a simple way to kind of share stories but it had major limitations and just wasn't filling my needs or the needs of my buddies. I then started a little hunting and fishing blog page, which was a step in right direction but something was still amiss?

Well my good friend Tom at ZEN Web Development, another successful school buddy, shot me an email telling me I had to ramp up my blog, it was lacking and he could set me up with a webpage that would ease my pain.

We searched months for someone to help us completely update our old front page website that had over 1000 pages. Our site was outdated with no exciting features. It was also very time consuming to add new products and make changes.

We were being held hostage by our website developer. They wouldn’t give us access to any of the files and made us pay large fees when we needed even the smallest modifications. We hired Tom Reitz to move our site from their server to his and give us access to the pages. Not only did he provide this service but also updated the site with all of the SEO programming that got our pages moved up in all the main search engines. Since our company is extremely diversified and provides software to many different industries, this was no small task. Within a few days we noticed our site climbing to the top on almost every keyword search that was relevant. After a month, we were on page 1 for each of our industries.
