Happy Birthday to the .COM! Amazingly it has been 25 years this week!  I would say it has been quite a good time had by all for the last 2 and a half decades!  Can we imagine a world without email / Facebook / AOL / Twitter / Google?  Not sure what our world would resemble without the internet… I think I would still be visiting my favorite pre-internet research place weekly – the public LIBRARY! Now here is the scary part… can anybody possibly fathom the growth of the internet in 25 years from now??!?! I’ll be enjoying the ride for sure!

25 years of .com domain names.

INTERNET SPEED IS COMING!!! well… eventually in the future… at some point… and it is not exactly coming quickly… if I had to guess this will take at LEAST a decade… and of course by then… something better will have come along and replaced it while the federal government is still wasting all kinds of money on this “OLD PLAN” by then…  can you say BOONDOGGLE?! Good grief…  leave it to private enterprise and it will become so unbelievably fast!!!
