As you all know I am a big fan of Google Earth. I see it as the future of the Search Engine. Eventually all things will be searched with immediate Geo-Location of an item, shipping points, delivery schedules, immediate knowledge of where your ordered package actually is, etc.  It is all only a matter of time for all of the convergence. It will take at most 10 years I’d guess…  Continuing in this tradition of Google Earth innovations is the new “WikiSailing”. This provides tours in Google Earth with a plane or a sailboat… this is really wicked cool and will only get better over time.

New App for the iPhone was released about a week ago… GOOGLE EARTH! Check it out here! I am still personally debating the need for an iPhone, as I hardly ever travel and work on the computer about 48 hours per day anyway… Seriously considering the iPod Touch though, and then just grabbing WiFi where I might be which is hardly ever… I’ll make a decision on the iPhone soon though… Anyways, here is official word from Google on the Google Earth for iPhone app.

The future of Computing is NOW HERE!  A picture is worth 1000 words… a video is worth 1000^2 ??!!  So a “touchable” Google Earth hologram is worth what??? 1000^1000 ?! This is rather mind blowing. I want one!!!
